Mr. Submarine to the Rescue

0 REPRESENTSWell, this wasn't my plan for today but due to a confluence of events, here I am. First was the pesticide-laden fruit I brought with me from Wal-Mart. I didn't feel like meal prepping this morning, so I bought precut fruit from Wally World. Big mistake, as I couldn't get the heavy taste of pesticides off of the grapes, so I tossed out the whole meal. I have bought precut, packaged fruits and veggies from Wal-Mart in the past and never really had this issue; but today was exceptionally bad.

Then, an annoying associate heard where I was going for lunch and tried to join me, uninvited. So I had to pull an audible and landed at Mr. Submarine. While I'm a fan of their veggie sub on wheat, sans the cheese and banana peppers; I'm limiting my French Fry intake. So, instead of having fries on a lazy afternoon at home with Tamekia, I'm having them now. SMH.

As for the sub itself, it comes with iceberg lettuce, tomatoes, onions, cucumbers, bell peppers and onion. Not groundbreaking to say the least, but it gets the job done in a pinch. Their wheat bread is fairly fresh, not too hard, but not soft; so workable. It's nice to be able to get a sandwich and hot fries; so I do frequent Mr. Submarine every now and again.
